Last Easter morning I got up early and made pancakes and hash browns. I cut the pancakes in an egg shape and used some food coloring to draw swiggly lines across them.
I then arranged the hash browns on the bottom half of the plate (like Easter basket grass) and situated the pancakes on top of the “grass”. Of course I had a cup of hot syrup and butter on the side. I then served it to my husband while he was still in bed – he thought it was the most wonderful thing!
