MEMORY TREE

I am a picture fanatic. I always have my camera with me to capture the moment. Well, when I was dating my first love on our second Christmas together I decided to use pictures I have taken of us to decorate our Christmas tree.

For some of our snapshots I made frames out of popsicle sticks. Others I glued to wooden shapes that I painted and decorated with ribbon, glitter, and lace. It was so much fun to walk around our tree and go back in time to relive each memory.

We shared the evening laughing, reminiscing and making more memories. “Remember the road trip to Denver and we got snowed in for hours at that Denny’s.” “Oh, and what about the trip to Bear Lake that we forgot sun screen and looked like lobsters.” He was so amazed by how many memories we shared together. Every time I think back to that Christmas, back to that memory it brings a smile to my face.
