The Romantic.com

It was Valentine’s day, Feb 2004.  My current boyfriend and I had not been dating a whole year.  He wanted to do something special for me.  He planned a super evening which was a total surprise to me.

My favorite roses are Orange roses.  Since it was Valentine’s day, he had a hard time trying to find Orange roses.  So upon him picking me up from my house, he greeted me with an orange with a red rose stuck through it.  The rose was just magnificent.  He said, “I wanted to buy you Orange roses but I could not find any so this is the closest thing I could come up with.”  My heart was touched by his creativity and romantic side.

Our evening was followed by a romantic candlelight dinner.  When we returned back to his home, the balance of the roses were in a vase with a big orange ribbon tied around it.
