FILLING UP THE CAR

On Valentines Day both my husband and I had to work, opposite shifts.  He told me that he had to be at work a half hour early so I wouldn’t try to call him on my break.

When I left work that day to my surprise, my husband had filled my car with all different kinds of valentines things.  A beautiful card, balloons, a huge heart filled with chocolates, lover teddy bears, a really cute Hershey’s chocolate candy bar tree, a beautiful basket with a teddy bear and picture frame that said all kinds of different I love you sayings.  And he threw Hershey kisses that said I love you all over my car.  And the kisses were really special to me because we have our own little inside secret about Hershey kisses.

This totally brightened my day and melted my heart, it brought tears to my eyes.  I thought he forgot valentines day and was down because we weren’t going to get to spend any time together because of work.  But at the end of the night we stayed up a little late after a hard days work and snuggled on the couch and watched a movie and just enjoyed being together and in love after being together 11 years.
